Thermal Wave Group - Wayne State University
At Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, students enjoy the benefits of studying at a large research institution while retaining the personalized attention of a small liberal arts college. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers majors, minors, and co-majors across 24 departments and more than a dozen programs, centers, and institutes, providing a broad-based liberal arts education. Each department within the College includes a dedicated advising staff to assist students in planning a course of study and to help make that important bridge from college to career.

Institute of Polymer Testing and Polymer Science - IKT
The Institute for Polymer Testing and Polymer Science (IKT) at the University of Stuttgart was founded in 1963 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. S. Wintergerst. There is a staff of 62, organized into 5 departments: engineering; life-cycle engineering; polymer and environmental analysis; polymer physics and plastography; and nondestructive testing. There are ~200 students.

Manufacturing Visualization Research Department of Mechanical Engineering - Clemson University
In Education: To graduate well qualified professional engineers and researchers to support the advancement of manufacturing science.
In Research: To acquire, develop, research and disseminate new innovations to visualize the manufacturing physics.

Materials Research Centre - MRC
An interdisciplinary research centre within the University of Bath Department of Mechanical Engineering. The Materials Research Centre has a sustained record of excellence in research. The Centre has excellent modern equipment for measurements of structural chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of materials and for preparation and processing of a wide range of materials.

Centre for Imaging Research and Advanced Materials Characterization - CIRAMC Centre
The Centre for Imaging Research and Advanced Materials Characterization (CIRAMC Centre) specializes in development of new high frequency acoustic and acousto-optic imaging systems and conducts research in advanced principles and methods for the imaging and quantitative characterization of surface, sub-surface and bulk materials structures.

LASer & Electro-optical Research in engineering metrology - LAS.E.R.

Photonics Engineering Group - PEG
The Photonics Engineering Group (PEG) is a Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+i) group within the University of Cantabria (UC) It was created in 1991 with the goal of developing both research and teaching activities related to Photonics, and, complementary, to Electronics.
